Soken is a wholly-owned enterprise established in May 2002 by Japan’s Zongyan Chemical Co., Ltd. in the Suzhou Industrial Park. The company covers a total area of 40,000 square meters and has a total investment of 12.2 million U.S. dollars.

History

2002

● On May 17, Zongyan Chemical (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was established. (Chairman: Mikio Nakashima; General Manager: Masahiro Sato)
● In August, construction of Phase 1 began.

2003

The opening ceremony was held on August 26.

2005

● On April 7, we obtained ISO9001:2000 certification.
● On April 11, an additional investment of US$2.2 million was made, bringing the total capital to US$6.1 million.
● On October 10, construction of Phase 2 of the Aggregation Factory project commenced.
● The union was established on October 20.

2007

● On April 9, we obtained ISO14001:2004 certification.
● Construction of Phase 3 of the Aggregation Factory project began on September 8.
● Received the title of “High-Tech Enterprise in Jiangsu Province” in December.

2008

● On March 2, we were awarded the title of “Advanced Safety Enterprise in Suzhou Industrial Park.”

2009

● January 28: Trademark certification for “Chemisnow.”

2010

● Construction of the August Office Building expansion project has begun.

2012

● Obtained the “Level 3 Standardization Certificate for Safe Production” in October.

2013

● Starting in 2013, we began reselling Japanese Soken’s powder products in China.

2015

● Received the “Municipal Demonstration Enterprise Certificate” in April.

2016

● Obtain the “Safety Production License.”
● Received the title of “Clean Production Enterprise in Suzhou Industrial Park.”
● Received the title of “AAAAA-Level Credit-Ensuring Enterprise in Suzhou Industrial Park.”
● The November aggregation factory control room migration.
● Introduction of RTO organic waste gas treatment equipment.

2017

● Received “Standardization of Safety Production Management” certification in November.
● Introduction of E water treatment equipment (CD dryer).

2018

● Received the title of “Enterprise for Enhanced Environmental Management in Suzhou Industrial Park.”

2019

● The SIS system implementation will begin in December.

2022

● The Nanocity R&D Center was officially put into operation in February.
● The renewal of the “Work Safety Permit” was completed in July.
